Job Description

As a Security Service Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager. Your main duties will be to manage the security checkpoints as well as your work team, and ensure that passenger screening is conducted in accordance with the client’s standard operating procedures. 
 Primary Accountabilities 
• Manage security screening operations for the airport 
• Ensure good communication between the work teams 
• Ensure proper planning, coordination and monitoring of the work team 
• Transmit directives and ensure that all employees adhere to and respect them 
• Manage employee performance and provide coaching 
• Inspect the premises and ensure the respect of health and safety standards 
• Complete different reports and oversee employee timesheets 
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures 
• Coordinate the implementation and application of emergency procedures 
 Qualifications 
• College graduate 
• Three (3) to five (5) years of management experience, ideally within a unionized context 
• Bilingual (English/French) 
• Experience with regards to performance and quality control 
• Good knowledge of the management of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 
• Available to work variable shifts and odd hours, on statutory holidays and on weekends 
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada 
• Must qualify for a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) 
• Good knowledge of logistics and project management is an asset Required Skills & Competencies
